When you walk off the Savary wharf you are on Malaspina Promenade

( much desired location of Savary's pioneer community and earliest cottage community. )

You can walk on to the sandy beaches, the North West outlook is perfect for Summer sunsets.

To the left, you walk along 'The Front Row' , a block and a half away is Townley Walk, uphill all the way to The South Beach Trail.

Cottages along the ridge have aptly Ocean View Lane addresses.

Keep on going , you pass the wooden tennis courts, then

to the barge landing, where vehicles and building supplies come ashore.

A 'medivac' helicopter pad is located just past the landing.

Soon the road narrows to a footpath.

Turn right off the dock and the road soon swings uphill.

The right of way along the beach, is a private road.  ( All beaches are public )

South Beach, is a bit of a challenge to get to, but well worth the effort.
