They get lots of Sunshine, and the views are a panorama of Georgia Strait and The Islands.
There is access to the beach at The Sutherland Steps .
There is sign at the bottom proclaiming Batchelor Beach.
Many South Siders use the beach on the North Side, accessed by The Mermaid Trail (Henderson Road ).
