Indian Point is the low-lying western tip of Savary, and it’s wrapped almost entirely in walk-on, sandy beachfront. For fifty years the Royal Savary Hotel drew summer crowds to this corner of the island, and the Point still has that sense of arrival to it. These days it’s quiet and well loved, with some of the gentlest beach access and warmest swimming water on Savary.
You’ll find a few familiar landmarks out here. There’s the community boat launch, built by volunteers back in the 1980s and now looked after by the Regional District, and remnants of the historical Royal Savary Hotel can still be found. Shallow sand-point wells are still common, and most lots are just a short walk from the sand.

Indian Point is ringed by walk-on, sandy beachfront. The West Side beach and a handful of short beach paths sit close to most lots, so direct or near-direct access is the norm here rather than the exception.

Most properties draw on shallow sand-point wells and run on private septic and off-grid power, either solar or a generator. That’s the standard setup right across Savary.
